Meet Hope Pride
Hope Pride exists to ensure that 2SLGBTQIA+ people in Hope and the Fraser Canyon are supported, connected, and empowered.
Our Queer Support Program in partnership with EmpowerEd Support Services provides a range of services: one-on-one support and referrals through a Queer Support Worker, monthly safe-space activities for youth, peer support groups and social gatherings for adults, and access to gender-affirming products. We also celebrate queer identity and creativity through the Hope Pride Queer Music & Arts Festival, which brings together artists, musicians, and community members to foster joy, visibility, and belonging. Stay tuned for details regarding the 2026 festival.
To create systemic change, we coordinate workshops and speaker series for local employers, service providers, and residents to build awareness, challenge discrimination, and promote inclusion. Together, these efforts reduce isolation, strengthen resiliency, and create the conditions for a thriving, welcoming community where everyone belongs.

Popcorn & Pride
A cozy monthly Dinner & Movie Night for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and allies. Come share a meal, enjoy a great film, and connect with community in a welcoming, affirming space.
Out Together
Monthly 19+ socials for queer adults in the Fraser Canyon region. These gatherings are all about laughter, connection, and community — whether you’re new to the area or looking to expand your circle of queer friends.
Holding Space:
A Queer Peer Support Group
A monthly support group for 2SLGBTQIA+ folks to connect, share, and find understanding. This is a confidential, affirming space where your story and your identity are valued and respected.
Hope Pride
Get ready to celebrate Pride, art, and community at the Hope Pride Queer Music & Arts Festival! This all-ages event brings together incredible local talent, vibrant performances, and inclusive spaces for connection. Join us as we fill the Fraser Canyon with colour, music, and joy.
